Why is sunday school so important?

Children learn that church is a fun and safe place. Children develop relationships with other trusted Christian adults. Children connect with other Christian children. Children can learn from the creativity and perspective of others, not just from mothers.

First of all, Sunday school is vital because it fulfills a fundamental function: that of Christian education. Sunday school is a place where people of all ages can learn about God, the Bible, and God's will for their individual lives. The Bible serves as a life manual for Christians. On its pages, you can learn about what is right and what is wrong in society.

Sunday school offers another practical way to do ministry and participate with others. Through Sunday School, everyone can exercise the gifts that the Holy Spirit has given them. Although programs and schedules vary, congregations try to create ways for children to participate in worship and attend Sunday school. It will allow you to improve the overall development and growth of the Sunday school program in any church, among other things.

Christian catechesis is taught through Sunday school sessions, which are usually held before church services on Sundays. This great concern for doctrinal purity and clarity should not go unnoticed by today's Sunday School teachers. While religious education of various types was previously known in Christianity, the beginning of modern Sunday school dates back to the work of Robert Raikes. It will also inspire pastors, church leaders and other church members to work to establish a well-organized and managed Sunday school that will ensure the continued growth of their congregation.

The Great Commission is the central motivation, though not the only one, for teaching Sunday School. Sunday school in the church not only strengthens the faithful, but also the churches, and includes not only preaching, but also teaching and community, since both encourage and strengthen the church and people in the faith. In large parishes with a Sunday school held at a different time of corporate worship and that is led (at least) and perhaps comprised of people who are professional Christian educators (or at least educators), I can understand your point of view. Sunday school classes are especially beneficial for children and teens, but they're also beneficial for adults.

Pastoral teaching, specifically in the Sunday School format, constitutes the most important and most important part of any ministerial work and, therefore, it is crucial to understand its objectives, motivations, scope and more.
