Who is God and What is His Role in Sunday School Lessons?

God is a loving Father to His children, not an image or an idol that we cannot reach. He is our Father, and we can learn more about Him through this free series of 42 lessons. These lessons are designed to be done with a group of children and are perfect for Sunday school or for studying the Bible in the middle of the week. The lessons focus on teaching children about the character and attributes of God.

Last week, we had a similar question in our Good News Club: who created God? We had to “clear” it up. The Group places a lot of emphasis on “friendship with God”, so why do we begin our prayers with “Dear”? We would never address our friends that way. Through these lessons, children can learn more about God and how to interact with Him. God is a loving Father who wants us to get to know Him better.
